CHECK YOUR DRIVING LICENCE
It is being reported once again that up to 2 million people have photocard driving licences which are no longer valid. This means that they risk a significant fine if they drive without renewing it.

Photocard licences
You must renew a photocard licence every 10 years – you’ll receive a reminder before your current licence ends.
Renewing your licence costs £14. You can pay by MasterCard, Visa, Electron or Delta debit or credit card (there’s no fee if you’re over 70 or have a medical short period licence).
Tell DVLA you’ve changed address
You must update your driving licence, vehicle log book (V5C), Direct Debit for vehicle tax and other details when you move home.
You can still drive while you wait for your new documents to be sent to you.
