The Submariners Association extend our deepest condolences
In the depths of the sea, submariners find solace, as the sea and oceans are our friends, concealing us from potential adversaries. But today, we are reminded that the sea, can unleash a cruel and violent side that spares no one, turning against us without warning.
With heavy hearts, the Submariners Association extends our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the courageous crew members of SAS Manthatisi, who tragically lost their lives while selflessly serving their country. Their dedication to duty and unwavering commitment will forever be etched in our hearts.
To those submariners who find themselves in hospital rooms, battling the aftermath of this devastating accident, we send our most heartfelt wishes for a swift and complete recovery.
In times like these, we must come together as a community, offering our unwavering support to our brethren beneath the waves. As submariners, you face the unpredictable nature of the sea with unmatched valour, and we stand beside you, united in strength and solidarity.
